Perth. What a city! Full of rousing restaurants, buzzing bars and, of course, cosy cafes; it’s an eater’s ecstasy and a drinker’s dream! Sometimes, though, having too many options can make things more difficult. So we put together a list of 6 of the best cafes in Perth! The only hard part left is ordering your meal. Good luck with that one, you’re on your own now.

Someday Coffee & Co

445 Cambridge St, Floreat
Up first on our ‘Best Cafes in Perth’ list is Someday Coffee and Co. It’s open for breakfast, lunch and drinks, so there’s plenty of option. Think Californian-retro/70s milk-bar vibes with a menu for the health (and flavour) conscious.

Small Print

Brookfield Place, 125 St Georges Terrace
This coffee house/bakery is open during the week for early breakfast until late afternoon. The baristas and chefs alike are artists in the medium of pastries, coffees, baguettes and sandwiches. Hands down one of the best relaxed places to eat in Perth.

Odyssea

187 Challenger Parade
Not only one of the best cafes in Perth for its food, but also its views! The hearty modern Australian style food with a (mostly) healthy twist is a welcome change up from your regular bacon and eggs. Notable features are the wine list, mouth-watering menu and the deck making it the perfect spot for a breakfast (or lunch) date.

Gordon St Garage

16 Gordon St, West Perth
Hip, trendy, chic… however you want to go about it, this place can only be described as cool. Pancakes, wood-fired bread with meats and sides, and top quality coffee all served in an industrial, modern warehouse scenario. Added bonus: open 7-days from breakfast till dinner!

Harvest Espresso

629 Albany Highway, Victoria Park
Rustic and small, this little café is known for its creative and colourful meals. Perfect for breakfast, the menu is consistently good- each dish has its own thing going on. The ambiance is intimate and date-friendly and available 7-days until 4pm.

Gusto Food

86 Angelo Street, South Perth
Ok let’s talk about crumpets. Sure, they might seem like an average make-at-home breakfast food, but the chefs at Gusto Food tell their story a little different. Think of them not so much as crumpets but more light, fluffy clouds coated in toppings so decadent they might just break your internet… did someone say Instagram?
