We all know there’s plenty to do in Armidale, but did you know about the traditional Farmers’ Market that happens every first and third Sunday of the month? If not, we’re here to tell you all about this iconic event!

WHAT: The Armidale Farmers’ Market is where local farmers show case their freshest and tastiest produce for the public. As you walk along the streets, you will find dozens of stalls offering a range of goods including plants, homemade knick knacks, and clothes and jewellery. Food stalls are aplenty here, with cuisine from all around the world, ranging from delicious German sausages, to authentic Vietnamese spring rolls. Perhaps the most famous stall at the Armidale Farmers’ Market however, is the organic and gourmet fair trade coffee – we hear it’s the best in town!
There are also plenty of activities for kids, as well as tables and chairs while the parents to sit, relax, and grab a bite to eat.
WHEN: The first and third Sunday of every month, from 8am to 1pm.
WHERE: Curtis Park, cnr Faulkner and Dumaresq Street, Armidale NSW, 2350
WHY: It’s a great reason to head outside and get some fresh air, as you peruse the goods available for purchase! In addition, you help reduce landfill by buying second hand items at the car boot sale! You never know what you’ll find, as the saying goes “One man’s trash, is another man’s treasure!”
