Your options for things to do and see in Newcastle are almost endless.

You need only cross the road to enjoy the sun, sand and surf at Newcastle beach and if you’re feeling a little peckish after a day in the sun there are a plethora of cafes and restaurants within walking distance of Noah’s. Our hotel is located in the Newcastle East Heritage Precinct and is the perfect place to start the self-guided Newcastle East Heritage Walk.

Visit the Newcastle tourist information centre or website to pick up or download a map and information sheet on the walk. The Heritage Walk is a 3 kilometre circuit taking in many historical points of interest, along with stunning coastal views.

Newcastle is host to many sporting events, shows and bands including international acts. There is always a good choice of live shows and music, ranging from intimate dinner shows through to stadium events.

Lizottes Restaurant is a favourite with locals, hosting dinner shows with live music from old favourites through to up and coming local bands with good food and an intimate atmosphere. There are also hundreds of pubs, clubs and nightclubs to choose from if you fancy a cold beverage, some pub grub or kicking up your heels on the dance floor.

Darby Street is a favourite place to enjoy breakfast in one of the twenty plus cafes, and then why not spend the rest of the day perusing the stylish boutiques and quirky shops, or take a tour at the Newcastle Art Gallery and explore the works of artists such as Brett Whiteley and Grace Cossington Smith. For something completely different, take the ten minute drive to the Hunter Wetlands and explore its fascinating ecosystem by water, foot or take a Segway tour for a unique way to get around.

After days packed full of history, art, entertainment and relaxation you can return to the haven of your stylish room at Noah’s on the Beach and enjoy your accommodation and spectacular view. A Newcastle holiday can really be whatever you make of it with stunning beaches, fantastic eateries, fascinating history and more – all at your doorstep.
